Please ban me

I have been a member of this forum for many years(in fact, I joined before DOA came to this forum), but due to the fact that I had been unable to buy an ABJD I haven't posted as often as I could have. Finally things have come to a point where I feel that I must say something.

This forum purports to be a safe place for people to play freely with their dolls, and a place where creativity is encouraged. But I myself have seen neither of these things. What I do see is herds of little goth yaoi vampire clones with scars and demonic pasts, I see girl dolls with their breasts sanded off because '[B]Everyone[/B] knows girly boys are HAWT', I see people who are rude to other people just because they have non-ABJD pictures on their blogs.

I was reading the blog of one of the moderators the other day, and she said that she felt bad because so many people weren't comfortable here. Well, if those were her true feelings then she should act on them.

In the artist's forum I see dolls praised as original that look to me just like dolls from the companies, while truly original dolls are banned. I see other dolls banned just because the artist 'isn't one of us'. I see my own comments totally ignored.

This is not a safe place to play with dolls and be creative. This is a clique where everyone must be just like everyone else to be noticed and where the mentality at times seems to near that of a gang. It's a place where selfish children who've never known what it is to have to scrape to survive pass judgment on those who don't have it so easy. It's a place where the maturity level is even lower than mine when I get into temper. And where the 'debate thread' is just a place to whine and angst because one didn't get one's way.

I've never been noticed on this forum except for one time, when a moderator decided to demand that I take down my signature. That I'll probably be flamed now seems in keeping with this place.

And not that anyone probably cares, but YES, I have an ABJD. I have CATSY, one of the most popular classics ever made. The wankery of this place hasn't managed to turn me off them yet. I'm sorry to be a discordant voice in your little happy kitty flower land, but I'll soon be gone.

I've only posted on DOA once, to sell the SD I had. I just...don't get that place. Same with This Is Blythe, even though TIB does allow for the existence of other dolls. Exclusionary/exclusive mind sets don't make sense to me, in terms of dolls or anything else in the world. Since I'm not on DOA, I won't see the results of your post; I imagine a few people will say they understand, and they're sorry you feel that way, but, most will just make statements that support your opinions. *shakes head*

From my experience I don't think there will be any "I understand" posts. I'm braced for a flood of flames, but after what they did to my friend I just didn't want to be associated with a place like that anymore.

Well, there aren't any "I understand" posts not because people don't share the same frustration with DoA as you do, but because there was no time. They just deleted the post and that was that.

Did you get a warning? Are you banninated?

I have two transactions I need to finish with DoA and then I'll be done with it too, because I have HAD it.

So, good for you for speaking your mind, even though I think very few people on DoA ever actually saw it. :(

No warning and no banned. I put up another thread saying how that only proved what I'd said.

Leaving isn't enough. I want the word 'Banned' by my name. And I want it without doing anything that would put mud on my God's name. (real mud, not what they think)

I got a letter from a mod. A nice, confused one trying to figure out why I wasn't happy.

So I told her, nicely.
